For some of the other good local markets, head for those like Chapel market, brick lane market Southall market and even petticoat lane which is one of the oldest London Street Markets with over 1000 stalls.

Another kind of shopping in London that's an experience as well would be the departmental stores, and one in particular called Harrods. Appropriate dressing is required but Harrods is the crème of the crop and its well worth the seven floors of shopping bliss. Even the toilets are something to boast about.
